A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Emma - the head and heart behind A Little Wild Beauty.
As a passionate florist with a lifelong love for flowers, I’m devoted to creating floral designs that feel heartfelt, personal, and rooted in nature. From gifting little posies as a child to pressing petals with my mum and grandmother, flowers have always held a special place in my world. Building a sustainable floristry business has been my dream for years — and now, here I am, living it.
I’m proud to be a local florist here in Haywards Heath. You’ll often find me every Friday at Hart Country Stores with a curated selection of fresh and dried floral pieces. I’ve collaborated with book clubs, delivered surprise blooms to local businesses and the community, and I provide weekly flowers to The Urban Sanctuary to bring a touch of natural beauty to their peaceful space.
What lights me up the most is seeing how flowers can brighten someone’s day — whether it’s a bouquet for your home or a bespoke arrangement for someone you love. I take pride in the little touches that make each order feel extra special, and I’m so grateful to have received a 5-star rating on Google from customers who’ve felt that care and attention shine through.
A big part of my business has grown from wanting to reduce floral waste — so my dried and pressed flower creations were born out of a simple wish to preserve the beauty that might otherwise be thrown away. It’s now one of my favourite parts of the job — slow, thoughtful, and joy-filled.
My inspiration often comes from life’s quietest moments: a walk through nature, a line in a book, a flicker of light across the kitchen table. These simple joys shape the way I work, helping me craft floral designs that feel soulful and considered.
At the heart of A Little Wild Beauty is a commitment to sustainability and intention — I use locally grown flowers whenever I can, repurpose floral waste into keepsakes and art, and try to tread gently in all that I do.
My mission is simple: to bring a little wild beauty into your everyday — in a way that feels magical, meaningful, and kind to the earth.
